HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY,

I need to jump back on MSN so I can properly wish you a happy birthday and ask you what you want.

The mall is indirectly calling its employees fat. Why is our parking so FAR!? It's now even further than it was before and now they closed off the highest traffic entrance and put a wall there.

Not cool. That was a rad chill spot and everyone's favourite smoking area. (FYI: I don't smoke, but my friends do)

GOT PAID TODAY. Another crappy paycheck including overtime for July 4th, but still...I'm trying to make up for last week.

I need a raise. It's been almost a year and I still make the same amount of money as when I first got hired. Something's definitely not right.

Persona 4 pre-orderrrr... Must get! D: Nervous about going into Gamestop. Orz...I should bring my brother, just in case.

I have the entire weekend off. ;o; I haven't had a Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday off ever since I started working. I'm so excited.

So excited that I'm playing Phoenix Wright in my jammies. ♥

5 hours out of the entire week. Five. Who in hell works 5 hours out of the week?

I've been on-call from 1 - 6PM, but I never got called in and basically spent my entire day playing Ocarina of Time on the Virtual Console.

I've been so bored, but I couldn't plan anything. And I requested a schedule change so I could work Tues., Wed., Thurs., and Sat. I need to see how Mondays will be before I give the word, but I wanted Sundays and Fridays off.

Still. I understand that the holidays are over and hours were going to be cut, but I'm seriously irked by this. I'm almost tempted to quit and apply for Gamestop. But I love the atmosphere. I love the people I work with.

But I feel like a temp. I have yet to be put on register after almost 3 months. And, honestly, it doesn't feel worth working if I'm only going to have a paycheck this week of less than $40 after taxes.

As much I'd really not like to, I'm giving this job until the end of January. This is stupid.

What do you think, F-list? I really am at a loss.

My mom took the DS so no Pokemon and I'm not in the mood to read manga. :|

Today was interesting.

This karaoke thing was going on at the mall and when I got out of the car on my way in, I saw...cowboy hats. Cowboys in California. My first thought was "Oh please, don't go inside New York." I didn't want them in the store. I would've said something. D:

And in the midst of my measly 15 minute break, there was a shoplifter. WHY AM I NOT THERE WHEN THIS HAPPENS? All the good stuff happens when I'm not there.

Then later on, one of my managers spontaniously grabs my hand and we both start skipping towards the fitting room. :'D And then some guy just randomly goes "You two make a cute couple~"
We both stop, look over, and smile like "Thank you!! *pushes away* but too bad!"
He's gay and I'm lonely. It wouldn't work out.

And the prize of today:
Lady: I need a different size, I think.
Me: Okay, there's more over on that other wall.
Lady: *after getting another size, holds them up* :]
Me: Oh cool! You wanna give those a shot, too? *starts unlocking fitting room*
Lady: ...what?
Me: Wanna give them another shot...? *points to pants*
Lady: ...?
Me: *sighs* Do you want to try those on, as well?
Lady: ...Oh! Yes! :DDD

I'm going to bed. Yes!

But on a better note. I'm almost done with the icon requests. I didn't get to work on them earlier this week, but YES. Just four more people.

So tired...I only got 3 1/2 hours sleep, but I can't fall back asleep. I had to work until midnight last night, but didn't really get to relax at home until 1AM. And I have to work until 9PM, today. Craaaaap.

It wouldn't have been so bad if my left contact wasn't bugging me or my migraine would've gone away~ peacefully. D:
This one woman felt bad for me when I let it slipped that my head hurt and offered me tylenol. She was so cute. ♥

Funny thing, though. Apparently, until after Christmas, all employees are to wear red tops and black bottoms, right? Cool, but I didn't find this out until I got to work in a bright BLUE top and dark grey pants.

I come in all like "....everyone is wearing red...WHY?"
My manager came out and told me saying how she knew she forgot to call someone! I would've bought a red top during my break, but I forgot my bank card and only had a $20 on me. AND I'M NOT GOING WITHOUT MY MID-SHIFT COFFEE.

Who knew it could be such a difference?

It sucks when you have those moments where you think you forgot something and it nags at you, nags at you, and nags at you before it turns around and bites you in the face.
My manager called me yesterday asking if I knew I was supposed to be working on Sunday.

I had a feeling that I did, but I honestly thought the schedule meant next Sunday. Luckily she wasn't mad and told me it's a common mistake that a lot of newly hired people do, but I felt so awful for the rest of the day. XD I didn't want to mess up so early in.
But I still have to close on Saturday, ick.

I WANT FIRE EMBLEM: RADIANT DAWWWWWN! 8[ We might go pick it up today, but dammit...I need to see this new Soren in action.

By the wayyyy, does anyone possibly have the Nightmare Before Christmas 3D OST with Marilyn Manson and Fall-Out Boy? I can't get my hands on it except for the Fiona Apple song. ._.;

Ouch. That's a good way to put it.

I had to handle the front of the store and EVERYONE WAS AT THE FREAKING MALL TODAY. WHYYYYY!?

I lost track of time and almost didn't take a break until one of my managers came up and forced me off the floor. I was really getting into it, I was so sadddd. XDD

Aside from that, not too bad. I know the holidays are gonna get worse and I almost keeled over from only 5 hours. Mainly because I was trying so hard to keep my area spiffy and clean. I guess the store manager was pretty pleased since she gave me another table to be put in charge of.

I just wish they told me what to do when I was asked to check the back (wasn't allowed to leave the front of the store unmanned) and explain a bit about where was what. D: I felt so stupid when I had to say "I'm not sure" or "I don't know" when I was asked something.

This one woman cracked me up, though. As soon as I asked her if she needed any help, she just goes "Oh my god, you're pretty!" XDD It was just totally random.

And I'm tired. BED 8]

I start training tomorrow at 5PM, but I have nothing to wear!
Every pair of slacks I have are too big or too long. Talk about bad luck. :'[

I also went down and started up a savings and checking account. Got like barely anything in it, but whatever~

This would all put me in such an awesome mood if I wasn't sick. I have this messed up problem with my stomach where I literally can't hold food down at all. My throat was burning last night and it still is from vomiting. (_ _);;
I feel a little bit better, but I still retch every now and then after eating. I'm hoping it's nerves, but dammit! It's annoying.

Anyway, I'm gonna read a bit more TRC before I go to do some homework. ^^

Mrhhhh...I think the interview went okay. I mean, I really really hope I get the job. I really adore that store. The staff is amazing and it's just one of my favourite places to shop. Here's to hoping!

I feel bad, I kept forgetting the interviewer's name. She was an awesome lady, but her name was so odd that even though I heard it like three or four times, I'd forget it almost instantly. It just doesn't stick. D: And I'm normally pretty good with names.

I hung out at the Gamestop my brother works at for about an hour afterwards while I waited for my mom. Oh my god, my brother and I have drifted so much. We used to be able to talk about anything and everything, but now he doesn't seem to want to hold conversations. ]:
I was talking to his friend Mike, mainly. He's totally sweet. I always have fun talking to him~

AND HOLY CRAP! THE SUN WAS BLOODY RED, YESTERDAY! a;lfdsh CALIFORNIA HAS LITERALLY BECOME HELL.

Okay, yeah. I have two ficlets to post up, later. Both of which are Persona 3.
