Okay, I got a DS and Pokemon: Diamond for Christmas, right? I wanna get the WiFi set up for it. We have the capabilities since our Wii is online, but...

My brother was the one who set up the WiFi for the Wii and I can't figure out how to get the WEP Key. D:

H-how/where do you find it?

I think you need the WEP key if your wireless is secure... mine isn't, because I have zero idea how to set that kind of crap up (too lazy to figure it out |D;; ). If it isn't, it should just connect right away.

You don't need to go to the wireless options in the game to connect to the Wifi options in the game. If it's connected already, then you just go to the features in the game once you get them from an NPC. They're not accessible right away in Diamond/Pearl like the lamers they are, so just play for a bit until you get it.

Oh, so I have to get to a certain point before it becomes unlocked? Lol...that makes me sad. But that's good to know before I start yelling at the thing for not working. Ahahaha.

Ah D: Yeah, then you might need it. I'm not really that savvy with WEP codes orz sorry. Though the nintendo.com website, I think, has a lot of information about that stuff. That's how I learned how to enable my wireless for the DS to connect |D;;

Yeah, it's kinda what D: It's not THAT far into the game, just about one or two towns from where you start.

Ah, hey - I haven't ever set up wifi for the DS before, however, to get your WEP key for secured wireless internet, you should just be able to log into the router. default IP for this is at http://192.168.0.1 (sometimes it is different) but you're still going to need a username/password to get into it. Once in there, there should be a wireless tab or button, and there should be some kind of key field that shows you what your WEP key is.

This may or may not be helpful if you can't get into the router, though, so you may have to check with your brother or someone else who knows that information.
