I just caught up with the recent xxxHolic chapters so I needed another manga to keep me busy.

I've had the first 11 volumes of Katekyo Hitman REBORN! burned to a CD, so why not? There are some on my F-list who are into it and marvel_esque rec'd it once upon a time.

After only one volume, I'm insanely hooked. I have no idea what was going on half the time and I LIKED THAT. Gokudera is the friggin' awesome. His dynamite♥♥ and he's so adorable around Tsuna~ new OTP, maybe?

I'm about to go and continue it. I'm really looking forward to reading more.

xxxHolic; there's one thing that confuses me. For those who know. When did Watanuki's eye change colour? I mean, I know why it did, but it wasn't gold immediately afterwards. In a coloured manga page, it was still blue until a few volumes later. Did I miss something? D:

On another note - I went to the bank today and got that whole issue worked out. The guy who helped me was so incredibly helpful and hot! Too bad he's married... so my funds will be back in my account tomorrow along with the two deposits I just made. :D
...but I already spent it on a new outfit for work. I fail.

Oh my god yes, Gokudera is amazing. He is def. my favorite! But anyway, if you're already hooked on Reborn after the first volume ... it gets about ten times better after the first arc, hahah. So yeah, expect greatness x 9999.

HoliC: In volume 8 of the manga, Watanuki learns that the Zashiki Warashi has been captured by a "Spider Queen" for attempting to retrieve his right eye. Although Yūko warns him of the risk involved, albeit after offering his service to match the price given to her, he sacrifices his own safety in order to rescue the girl. When he is also captured and confronted by the spider queen, he crudely offers his left eye and other parts of his body for the return of the Zashiki Warashi.

The spider queen rejects the offer, asking him why she would want something he is just "throwing away." She tells him that he is "treating like garbage" what the Zashiki Warashi and his Kudakitsune are working so hard to get back. Watanuki learns a lesson of self-worth and importance in the chapter. In the end, Dômeki shares half of his eye's vision with Watanuki, and Watanuki has learned enough to simply accept Dômeki's gift. Dômeki's eye has also granted Watanuki some ability to sense abnormal spiritual energy and displayed in the chapter with the raiju. << taken from [Wiki] *only because I didn't now how to put it in my owe thoughts XD;*
