I used to do that - still do, on occasion - , but I found it easier to make bases for me to use ahead of time. Sometimes I end up not liking them a little down the road, which kind of of sucks. Or can't make it work properly. D: My Photoshop already fails so it won't be so lonely, huh? :D
I never beat FFX now that you mention that. I think I stopped just before Sin. .-.
