5 hours...

5 hours out of the entire week. Five. Who in hell works 5 hours out of the week?

I've been on-call from 1 - 6PM, but I never got called in and basically spent my entire day playing Ocarina of Time on the Virtual Console.

I've been so bored, but I couldn't plan anything. And I requested a schedule change so I could work Tues., Wed., Thurs., and Sat. I need to see how Mondays will be before I give the word, but I wanted Sundays and Fridays off.

Still. I understand that the holidays are over and hours were going to be cut, but I'm seriously irked by this. I'm almost tempted to quit and apply for Gamestop. But I love the atmosphere. I love the people I work with.

But I feel like a temp. I have yet to be put on register after almost 3 months. And, honestly, it doesn't feel worth working if I'm only going to have a paycheck this week of less than $40 after taxes.

As much I'd really not like to, I'm giving this job until the end of January. This is stupid.

What do you think, F-list? I really am at a loss.

I say give it another month. If they aren't giving you more hours, then you'll have to tell them you're going to have to find another job. Even if you are working part time, you should have at LEAST 10-15 hours a week. :/ If you aren't getting that, then there's no point in you staying, no matter how much you like the job.

Though... finding a job you like is also very difficult.

If you want to quit and work somewhere else, then quit and work somewhere else.LOL

Ocarina of Time~

Aw... that must suck. I say stick out for awhil longer and discuss the matter with your boss or seomthing otherwise quit and switch to another job. I know you love the people and the atmosp[here but you can't stay there forever (U_U).

Just see how it goes...

uh, january is still pretty long =/ anyway I suggest you to start asking around for new jobs right away and take the chance.

Hold onto your job because not many places are hiring right now. So it might actually be hard to find something.

OR FIND SOMETHING AND THEN QUIT :D;; So a least you don't lose in the end, righto?

I'm like the complete opposite of you. I've been working my butt off everyday, for nine hours (a day) and it's driving me up the wall and I'm always so tired.
