Weeelll... It's a movie that explores the idea of "who gets to decide who's good or bad, and their punishment for it?" It centers around two Irish Catholic brothers in.. Boston, I think? By a mixture of pride and bad luck, they get the wrong people angry, and when they're retaliated against, realize that they can take action against the lowlife drug dealers, crime organizations, rapists, murderers etc.. Meanwhile an FBI detective tries to figure out what's going on, while dealing with the ethics of the situation.
Lots of shooting, lots and lots and OMG lots of cursing, some suggestive homosexuality (that actually manifests in really funny ways XD), Really great humor, sometimes morbid humor, a tiny bit of racism, a bit of sexism at one part- on both sexes... umm... but lots of shooting, and lots of the "F" word.
With all that said, it's a really great movie... very dramatic, great filming, awesome acting, brilliant musical score, and what I loved most about it was the philosophical/ethical questions that arose- whether you believe in the way the characters thought or not. And Irish accents <3
