My cinnamon raisin bagel lacks raisins.

What happened to [livejournal.com profile] experienced??? D8 Does anyone know?

Duuuude...I cannot stop looking up P3 fanart sites. I seriously need to stop, but how else am I supposed to find fanworks for my favourite pairings/characters?
The english fandom is so tiny considering how many people are playing. /: (Holy crap, 39.4MB of just fanart alone!? No wonder I'm out of space.)
Funny thing is, I can't stand using fanart for icons. I just have save them so I can look at them again, sometime.

[livejournal.com profile] twisted_fruitie tagged me! P; This sounds like fun!

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now.

Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

001. Smashing Pumpkins - 1979: I found my old Smashing Pumpkin CDs that I stole from my brother a few days ago and have been ripping them. They make me feel like a kid again. /o/

002. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - 10x10: I fell victim to this band. I adore Karen O's vocals. This isn't my favourite song, but I listen to it the most of what I've got.

003. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - The Ministry of Music: Never seen the movie, but I saw the soundtrack at Borders one too many times so I thought, what the heck? The movies have beautiful music! This has just got that mystical feel to it, very pretty. :]

004. melody. - HOPE: I love melody.! She deserves more recognition than she gets. This is a bit different from her usual uppity beats, but its sound is pretty inspiring. I listen to it a lot when I'm working in PS. ♥

005. MONORAL - Shenanigans: I swear to god, I thought these guys were an american band when I first heard them despite the song name: Kiri. Those crazy japanese. :D This song is amazingly rockin', I adore it to pieces.

006. Hitomi Shimatani - Mona Lisa: ...it's Hitomi Shimatani. That chick is crazy talented. The beginning instrumentals reminds me of Balto, though. That movie rocked, hard.

007. Jewel - Foolish Games: lol, more 90's. I was never a huge Jewel fan, I can't stand how she sings. This was my favourite song of hers when I was younger and can you imagine how ecstatic I was when I got it again? It was on repeat for like two hours! XD

Seven, huh? I play by the rules, this time. [livejournal.com profile] needlespike, [livejournal.com profile] servantrider, [livejournal.com profile] dopeangel, [livejournal.com profile] marvel_esque, [livejournal.com profile] manicalpha, [livejournal.com profile] break4angels, and [livejournal.com profile] unavalible, but you don't have to do it if you really don't want to.

I didn't feel like uploading the songs this time; if anyone really wants one or the other, I certainly don't mind uploading it for them. ;]~

Is Fever to Tell and Show Your Bones their older stuff? I'll check them out anyway, thanks! :D

You know, I thought the same for the longest time, too. Until I heard the song Tarantula and saw the release date was 2007. Guess they're still goin' strong.

Ya, Fever to Tell is their first album. It has a lot more of a "garage punk" sound to it, but that's the great part. Songs like Black Tongue and Pin has a lot more of Karen O wailing and fast upbeat sounds from Nick and Brian. Show Your Bones is a lot slower paced, much more composed, more "alternative rock" based. Karen O is actually SINGING, so it's not as fun to dance around to. But some people said it was because Karen O had broken up with Spike Jonze at the time, so who knows. /shrugs

LOLS omg I can't believe they're still making music. They're such an old band, I recalled reading that they toured with RHCP before they were super famous, and that's a longgg time ago.

Sounds interesting, it's cool to know that they didn't stick with just one style. I'm looking around for torrents for them, right now. If I had the money, I'd rather buy the CDs. Ahahaha!

I know, right? It's crazy. Not too sure on how long they've been around, but I still remember their old music videos and listening to their older songs just brings up so many memories. o_o
